Whitehouse Pharmacy was established in 1983 and bought in 1987 by present owner and Pharmacist, Kamini Maharaj and her late husband Santosh. With years of experience, the pharmacy has been a corner stone of availability, service, and affordability within the Phoenix and Mount Edgecombe communities.
In store expertise includes two full time pharmacists, three qualified Post Basic pharmacist assistants, a qualified Basic pharmacist Assistant. Our other staff compliment includes four cashier and front shop assistants, a driver, and a cleaner, all there to make the lives of our customers easier, and our store more efficient. To further ensure that our customers get the best professional advice and service, our staff are regular attendees at update sessions and seminars hosted by industry experts, suppliers, and manufactures, where they are kept up to date with industry best practices and the latest trends and products in pharmaceutical healthcare.
This, together with latest addition of a nursing sister has elevated our practice to a Registered Wellness Centre for Discovery, Momentum and other Medical Aid providers. Our clinic sister is there to do your health assessments, whereby assisting you in elevating your points to reach a status goal of platinum. Our clinic services are also extended to provide patients with screening and monitoring of medication usage, and where doctors can be referred to when appropriate. We also maintain an excellent ongoing relationship with allied healthcare professionals in our area to ensure that your health is our priority.
One of our key focus areas is with our chronic patient care, whereby we have a dedicated system in place to ensure medication is delivered timeously, accurately, and intervening where necessary.
Although we offer a delivery service for medication to those that cannot commute, we do recommend and encourage that patients endeavour to visit our pharmacy to gain optimal benefit through personal advise and monitoring.
